iHEARTMEDIA Urban AC WVAZ (V103)/CHICAGO has brought “CRAZY” HOWARD MCGEE back into the company.  He’s been tapped for weekends and fill-in duties, reports ROBERTFEDER.com.

Dir./Urban Programming DERRECK BROWN told FEDER, “I’m more than elated to have HOWARD back in the fold at iHEARTMEDIA CHICAGO.  He’s a fan favorite with deep ties to the community.

This is going to be a fun ride.  I really want to get him involved in a lot of things.  He’s going to be a fill-in jock for the station, and when it comes to appearances, endorsements and community things, I want to get him in front of people."

MCGEE formerly anchored AM drive at sister station Urban WGCI. He exited in 2007 and was replaced by PREMIERE NETWORKS syndicated STEVE HARVEY MORNING SHOW (NET NEWS 7/19/07).
