KZKX/Lincoln Raises More Than $60K For Red Cross Flood Relief Efforts

ALPHA MEDIA Country KZKX (KX96.9)/LINCOLN, NE teamed with local venue STARLITE EVENT CENTER to raise more than $60,000 for the AMERICAN RED CROSS Nebraska Flood Relief Campaign. The funds were raised during a benefit concert on FRIDAY, MARCH 29th with local acts DYLAN BLOOM, BUCKA RUSE and SACK OF LIONS. The donation check was presented to TIMOTHY NEAL of the AMERICAN RED CROSS by staffers at KX96.9 and its partners on THURSDAY, APRIL 11th.

Said ALPHA MEDIA/LINCOLN OM ROB KELLEY, “It was a humbling experience that night as the people of SAUNDERS COUNTY and surrounding area, many of them flood victims themselves, came together with auction items and monetary donations to go directly to their friends, family, and neighbors!
