CUMULUS MEDIA/YOUNGSTOWN brings in veteran radio programmer CHARLEY CONNOLLY to the OM post effective TOMORROW (4/16). In addition to overseeing the eight station cluster -- Classic Rock WYFM (Y-103), Top 40 WHOT (HOT 101), Country WQXK (K-105), Classic Hits WWIZ (Z104), Sports WBBW-A (SPORTSRADIO 1240), Sports WLLF (SPORTSRADIO 96.7), Classic Country WSOM-A, and News-Talk WPIC-A -- CONNOLLY will program K-105.
Welcoming CONNOLLY, CUMULUS MEDIA/YOUNGSTOWN, VP/Market Manager BILL KELLY said, "We are fortunate to have someone of CHARLEY’s background, especially with Country, available to us in YTOWN. This is gonna be fun.”

Most recently, CONNOLLY was PD at iHEARTMEDIA Country station WGAR/CLEVELAND for the past nine years and was also PD at sister Variety Hits WHLK. He's previously been PD at CUMULUS Country WSM-F and News/Talker WWTM/NASHVILLE, and KVIL Dallas.
