Karen Blake's Magic Move Home To Boston at WMJX

ENTERCOM has appointed market veteran KAREN BLAKE as the new afternoon-drive host for Mainstream AC WMJX (MAGIC 106.7)/BOSTON, effective immediately. BLAKE will be behind the mic weekdays from 3-8p.

ENTERCOM/BOSTON Regional Pres./Market Manager MARK HANNON tells ALL ACCESS, “KAREN is a legendary personality with a storied career in BOSTON, and we are excited to welcome her to the MAGIC 106.7 family.” 

The move marks BLAKE’s return to town after serving as morning drive host for WQRC (99.9 THE Q)/CAPE COD for the past five years. Prior to her time at WQRC, BLAKE spent seven years hosting both mornings and afternoons WODS/BOSTON (now sister station 103.3 AMP RADIO). From 1996 to 2005, BLAKE hosted the morning show for WQSX/BOSTON (now sister station WEEI).

Commenting on her return, BLAKE said, “It is a privilege to return to the ENTERCOM family. I am looking forward to being part of an air staff that I’ve admired for years and am thrilled to be continuing my career in my hometown of BOSTON.”
