WXPN/Philadelphia Announces 2019 Non-Commvention Details

XPN's Non-Commvention

UNIVERSITY OF PENNSYLVANIA Non-com Triple A WXPN/PHILADELPHIA has released details for their annual NON-COMMVENTION, which will be held MAY 14-17 at WORLD CAFE LIVE in PHILADELPHIA.

Featured sessions include WXPN OM/MD/afternoon host DAN REED hosting a conversation with recently retired promo veteran KAREN DURKOT, and an interview with BRUCE HORNSBY by WORLD CAFE host TALIA SCHLANGER.  And, of course, FRIDAY MORNING, MAY 17th, the annual MUSIC MEETING hosted by SONGLINES will take place.

Over 30 artists are scheduled to perform during the four day event, including MORRISSEY, THE NATIONAL, JOSH RITTER, K.T. TUNSTALL, CITIZEN COPE, RODRIGO Y GABRIELA, J.S. ONDARA, PHOSPHORESCENT and BRUCE HORNSBY.

Additionally, this year, the NON-COMMVENTION is expanding in partnership with the NONCOMMUSIC ALLIANCE, an organization that serves public radio music stations. Starting MONDAY MAY 13th at 4p through TUESDAY MAY 14th at 3:30p, a special pre-conference will feature speakers, and discussions regarding key issues facing music stations of all formats and genres today.
