Report: Longtime Radio Host, Newsman Brad Messer Dies

Longtime radio talk host and newsman BRAD MESSER died TUESDAY evening (4/16) in SAN ANTONIO, reports DON BARRETT at LARADIO.COM.  MESSER had been ill in recent months and was in hospice care.

MESSER hosted talk shows at KTSA-A/SAN ANTONIO for several years through 2017; his career included stints in news and hosting at KNUZ-A and KILT-A/HOUSTON, KLIF-A/DALLAS, KYA-A/SAN FRANCISCO, KGB-A/SAN DIEGO, KMET/LOS ANGELES, and WESTWOOD ONE.  He also wrote a column for RADIO & RECORDS and published a prep sheet with his late wife CAROLE, and was an inductee into the TEXAS RADIO HALL OF FAME.
