WAAF/Boston APD/Midday Host Mistress Carrie Finishes Boston Marathon

Mistress Carrie- Mission Accomplished

ENTERCOM Active Rock WAAF/BOSTON APD/midday host MISTRESS CARRIE recently completed the world famous BOSTON MARATHON ... all 26.2 miles!

It took months of training and dedication, but on APRIL 15th, she successfully completed the marathon, all while raising $17,190 as a fundraiser for the Home Base Program, the only private sector clinic in NEW ENGLAND, and the largest private sector clinic in AMERICA with the sole focus of helping at-risk veterans and military families regain the lives they once had.

CARRIE finished the race in six hours, 24 minutes and 50 seconds and told ALL ACCESS, "I was slow, and in pain ... but I finished!"

She posted a blog shortly after the marathon chronicling the event, which said:

"I stood at the start, in a massive crowd, and then someone said... there it is, there's the line, are you ready? I almost fell over. As I crossed the line, I hit start on my watch, and play on my iPod. It's go time. By mile 14, I was starting to have doubt. This was the same mile mark that I hit my low point during my 20-miler, so I knew just what to do ... I phoned my BF. He told me he was at mile 20, and waiting for me. He said 'You're doing great, I'm following your progress, keep it up! I'm proud of you.' All along the way, the first responders yelled for me. The cops, paramedics, National Guardsmen and firefighters were so amazing. I couldn't have finished without them!"

ALL ACCESS congratulates MISTRESS CARRIE for finishing the race, and for a great cause at that. Mission Accomplished!
