The CINCINNATI BUSINESS-COURIER reports that former WLW-A/CINCINNATI Sports Talk radio host ANDY FURMAN will not be retiring or starting a new career selling cars. The rumors about FURMAN finding a home at CINCINNATI's new FM Talk station have now come to fruition.
Beginning JANUARY 8, "Prime Time Sports with ANDY FURMAN" will be heard live from 4-7p on CUMULUS WFTK (SUPERTALK FM 96.5).
FURMAN had been suspended without pay on OCTOBER 13 for calling T.J. HOUSHMANDZADEH a "racist" during his WLW "Sports Talk" show. Leading up to his suspension, FURMAN had criticized HOUSHMANDZADEH for the previous two nights for failing to show up at a live call-in show, for which he was under a paid contract by WLW to appear each week during the BENGALS' season.
