  ILLINOIS STATE UNIVERSITY noncommercial Variety WGLT/NORMAL, IL is taking over operations of BRADLEY UNIVERSITY Variety WCBU/PEORIA on JUNE 1st.
  The joint operation will likely result in staff cuts but the two parties say that local content on WCBU will be increased under the arrangement; WCBU staff contracts will expire on MAY 31st but the staffers will be given the chance to reapply for their jobs. W278AE/PEORIA will switch from simulcasting WGLT to airing Classical WCBU-HD2 programming. BRADLEY will retain the WCBU license.
