Longtime ROCHESTER radio producer and host BILL FLYNN died APRIL 16th of cancer at 60, according to WXXI PUBLIC BROADCASTING COUNCIL News-Talk WXXI-A/ROCHESTER.
FLYNN, known for his presence on the local sports scene, worked at WXXI-A, WSAY-A, WHAM-A, and WRTK-A and the ASSOCIATED PRESS, among other outlets, as both producer and news anchor/host, and won four MURROW AWARDS and 11 NEW YORK STATE ASSOCIATED PRESS AWARDS.
