EMMIS Alternative WKQX (Q101)/CHICAGO's HD-2 Channel, Q2, has flipped to all alternative CHRISTMAS music. The channel, which usually features alternative music will play alternative holiday music through the end of the day on DECEMBER 25.

"It's this type of versatility and specialty programming that can stand out as one of the strengths of HD radio" said VP/Programming MIKE STERN.

Added Interactive Program Mgr. ALEX QUIGLEY, "We want to give alternative listeners their own version of LITE-FM so they can celebrate the holidays with music they will enjoy instead of BURL IVES and AIR SUPPLY."
