App Revamp Heralds Slacker's Rebranding To 'LiveXLive Powered By Slacker'

SLACKER RADIO's rebranding to share the name of its parent company is underway with the rollout of an update to the streaming audio service's app.

The update, which rebrands SLACKER as LIVEXLIVE POWERED BY SLACKER, will be available to users by WEDNESDAY (4/24).  The company is offering a year's worth of its Plus subscription premium version for $9.99, including no ads and unlimited song skips.  The revamped service will be adding LIVEXLIVE concert live streaming and videos and will be accompanied by a new livexlive.com website, although the slacker.com site will continue to be available for now and current programming will continue, as will user playlists.
