'The B Word' Plays In Peoria

REGENT Christian WVEL-A/PEORIA Station Mgr. ROBERT CARUTH announced that beginning this SATURDAY, the station will air "The B-Word with MR. PERCY BAKER JR." "The B-Word" is a half-hour long program that has been on their sister FM station for the past 11 years.

Focusing on concerns of local PEORIA area youth, BAKER JR., Executive Director of the GEORGE WASHINGTON CARVER CENTER, has made it his goal to enhance the quality of life for all young people. "The B-Word" often features local talent in the quest to raise awareness and address issues that young adults face today.

"MR. BAKER delivers a very important program to the WVEL listeners that makes a very positive impact on our young adults," said CARUTH.
