Job Opening

CUMULUS/SHREVEPORT, LA OM/PD CHIP ARLEDGE has departed after two years with the cluster. VP/Programming Operations GREG FREY is seeking to fill the role with two people, an OM for the cluster, and a PD for Country KRMD-F.

The OM position, which also includes Urban KMJJ, Urban AC KVMA (MAGIC 102.9), Hot AC KQHN (Q97.3) and Sports KRMD-A, requires “a dynamic, self-motivated [person] to manage the strategy and execution of the market’s brands and increasing audience engagement.”

Candidates for the PD position must be experienced, and “have a strong background and passion for Country music. Energy, enthusiasm and experience within the genre [are] a must.” Also required is “a strong understanding of the core audience of a Country format.” The position includes a daily air-shift, along with a weekend voice track shift, as well as live appearances.
