Solomon Jones Returns To WURD/Philadelphia For Mornings

SOLOMON JONES is returning to LEVAS COMMUNICATIONS News-Talk WURD-A-W241CH/PHILADELPHIA as host of the morning "WAKE UP WITH WURD" show, starting MAY 6th, reports the PHILADELPHIA TRIBUNE. JONES hosted the show in 2014-17 and then moved to crosstown URBAN ONE Gospel WPPZ (PRAISE 107.9) for 10a-noon (ET) before that station flipped in DECEMBER to Urban Oldies and moved the Gospel format to HD2 and streaming.

JONES replaces Dr. AARON SMITH, who crosstown WHYY is reporting will continue with WURD as host of "WURD SHOW ON THE GO," a series of live radio and video broadcasts on location in the community.
