West Virginia Panhandle Combo Sold; Price For KFLT/Tucson $650,000

WEST VIRGINIA RADIO CORP. is buying Oldies WCST-A-WXDC (MAX 92.9)/BERKELEY SPRINGS, WV from METRO RADIO for an undisclosed price, reports the HAGERSTOWN-HERALD MAIL.  The buyer is taking over programming TODAY (5/1) under an LMA replacing an existing LMA to DIANE SMITH, with WCST simulcasting new sister WEPM-A-W229CM/MARTINSBURG, WV and the METRONEWS RADIO NETWORK as the "PANHANDLE NEWS NETWORK" and the FM returning to Classic Hits, its format in 2017. The price for the deal remains undisclosed and the paperwork has yet to appear in the FCC database.

Another deal announced but with the price undisclosed at the time (NET NEWS 4/26) has reached the FCC database, with $650,000 the price for which FAMILY LIFE BROADCASTING, INC. is selling Religion KFLT-A-K269FV/TUCSON to former PROVIDENCE SERVICE CORP. and SINFONIA CEO FLETCHER MCCUSKER's TUCSON RADIO, LLC.

In other filings with the Commission, REAL LIFE BROADCASTING has requested an STA to operate WIFI-A/FLORENCE, NJ at variance while  FM translator W225DJ's antenna is installed on its tower.

CSN INTERNATIONAL has applied for a Silent STA for K287CB/GLENWOOD, IA due to antenna combiner issues and a Silent STA and an extension of the STA for K255CS/LINOOLN, NE while it moves.

EDGEWATER BROADCASTING, INC. has closed on the sale of K217DJ/KEMAH, TX to CALVARY CHAPEL OF SOUTHEAST HOUSTON, INC. for $60,000.  The primary station will be low power FM KEPH-LP/FRIENDSWOOD, TX.

And SAMUEL JORDAN has closed on the sale of his 50% interest in GREATER CORRY AREA BROADCASTING, LLP, licensee of Full Service WWCB-A/CORRY, PA to WILLIAM STAFFORD for $15,000.  STAFFORD has reorganized the station's ownership under the name ROUTE 6 BROADCASTING AREA PARTNERSHIP and has granted 5% interest each to REBECCA STAFFORD and RUTH MEILLEUR.

Also, POWELL BROADCASTING COMPANY, LLC has closed on the sale of three PANAMA CITY market stations -- Country WKNK (103.5 HANK FM)/CALLAWAY, FL, Adult Hits WASJ (BOB FM 105.1)/PANAMA CITY BEACH, and Classic Rock WRBA (CLASSIC ROCK 95.9)/SPRINGFIELD, FL -- to SAMUEL ROGATINSKY's GULF COAST BROADCASTING, LLC for $325,000.  KALIL & CO. served as broker for the deal.
