Former longtime CLEAR CHANNEL Rock WKLS (96 ROCK)/ATLANTA personality “SOUTHSIDE STEVE” RICKMAN joins crosstown ABC Country WYAY (EAGLE 106.7) for swing/fill-in/sidekick duties across the station’s schedule, reports the ATLANTA JOURNAL-CONSTITUTION’s RODNEY HO. RICKMAN was let go from afternoons (with TIM RHODES) at WKLS at the beginning of 2006, but RICKMAN had been making appearances on the REGULAR GUYS’ morning show when that show was cancelled prior to the station’s format change to Active Rock as “PROJECT 9-6-1” in the FALL.
