No New Station Sales In FCC Database Tuesday Morning; Michigan Upper Peninsula Cluster Changes Hands While Bustos Buys In Washington State

No new station sale transactions appeared in the FCC database this morning (5/14).
In filings that did appear, TOWNSQUARE MEDIA ROCHESTER LICENSE, LLC has requested a Silent STA for KFIL/PRESTON, MN due to lightning damage.
HUDSON VALLEY PUBLIC RADIO, INC. has applied for an extension of its Silent STA for WJZZ/MONTGOMERY, NY.
And RUBIN BROADCASTING, INC. has closed on the sale of Classic Hits KBOQ (Q103.9)/LIMA, MT to TED W. AUSTIN, JR.'s SOUTHWEST MONTANA MEDIA, LLC for $5,000.
In a deal yet to appear in the Commission database, CHARLES WILLIAMS' MEDIABREW COMMUNICATIONS is buying Country WFXD/MARQUETTE, MI, AC WKQS/NEGAUNEE, MI, Classic Rock WRUP/PALMER, MI, , and translators Sports W260AG/ISHPEMING, MI-W286BC/MARQUETTE (FOX SPORTS MARQUETTE), Oldies W248BU (GTO)/ISHPEMING, and CHRISTMAS W291CJ/MARQUETTE (THE GIFT), from GREAT LAKES RADIO, INC. for $2 million. BILL CATE of MEDIA SERVICES GROUP served as exclusive broker for the deal, representing the seller. A press release initially included Oldies WQXO-A-W249DR (GOOD TIME OLDIES 97.7 FM 1400 AM)/MUNISING, MI in the deal, but a subsequent release retracted the station from the deal.
In another deal yet to appear in the database, FARMWORKERS EDUCATIONAL RADIO NETWORK, INC. is selling Regional Mexican KRCW (LA CAMPESINA 96.3 FM)/ROYAL CITY, WA (TRI-CITIES) to BUSTOS MEDIA HOLDINGS, LLC for $200,000 plus an LMA before closing; the station has flipped to BUSTOS' LA MAQUINA network programming. KALIL AND CO. served as exclusive broker for the deal.
