WOBM/Toms River, NJ's Long-Running 'Topic A' Ends With Host Jeremy Grunin's Departure

'Topic A' Ends

TOWNSQUARE MEDIA AC WOBM/TOMS RIVER, NJ and Oldies WOBM-A/LAKEWOOD-WADB-A/ASBURY PARK (BEACH RADIO 1160 & 1310)'s long-running weekend talk shot "TOPIC A" has ended after almost 40 years with the exit of host JEREMY GRUNIN. SUNDAY's show (5/19) was the last episode of the local program.

The station has decided to end the public affairs show best known for the late BOB LEVY's long run as host, rather than continue the show with another host. LEVY, who helped put WOBM on the air in 1968 as Sales Manager and later became GM, hosted the show from its SUMMER 1979 inception through his death in 2018; GRUNIN joined LEVY as co-host in 2017.
