TOWNSQUARE MEDIA/TUSCALOOSA, AL adds veteran programmer MARY K SCHMITT as Assistant OM for the cluster which includes Country WFFN, Classic Country WTBC, Urban AC WTUG, Gospel WTSK and Sports WTID. She will also handle PM drive on WTUG (92.9).

SCHMITT told ALL ACCESS, “I am so excited to return after 6-years to the state of ALABAMA and this time I’ve been blessed to work with TOWNSQUARE MEDIA,TUSCALOOSA. TOWNSQUARE MEDIA is community driven, local first, and continually evolving to create the future of radio.

Most recently, SCHMITT had been PD at RADIO ONE Urban WQNC (92.7 THE BLOCK), Urban AC WOSF (105.3 RNB), and Inspiration WPZS (PRAISE 100.9)/CHARLOTTE. SCHMITT exited the cluster in DECEMBER 2018. (NET NEWS 12/5/18).

Her extensive resume includes programming stops at SUMMITMEDIA Top 40/Rhythmic WHZT (HOT 98.1) and Urban WJMZ (107.3 JAMZ)/GREENVILLE, SC as well as then-COX MEDIA Top 40/Rhythmic WBHJ (95.7)/BIRMINGHAM and ENTERCOM Top 40/Rhythmic WJMH (102 JAMZ)/GREENSBORO. SCHMITT also spent time at then-CBS RADIO WJHM (102 JAMZ)/ORLANDO and WHJX (HOT 101.5)/JACKSONVILLE.
