WBEZ/Chicago Plans Midday Changes For Fall

ROBERTFEDER.COM is reporting that CHICAGO PUBLIC MEDIA News-Talk WBEZ/CHICAGO is revamping its midday lineup this Fall, including dropping the midday "THE MORNING SHIFT" from the 9-10a (CT) hour and "WORLDVIEW" international affairs show from the noon-1p slot and introducing a new talk show for middays.
The new show will be hosted by current "THE MORNING SHIFT" host JENN WHITE and will air 11a-1p (CT), produced by the same production team; "BBC NEWSHOUR" will replace "THE MORNING SHIFT" in the 9-10a position, while "WORLDVIEW" host JEROME MCDONNELL will move to Energy and Environmental Reporter. "WORLDVIEW" will be honored with specials and events throughout the SUMMER celebrating its 25 years on the station before it comes to a close.
