Crooked Media's New 'This Land' Podcast Examines Legal Battle Over Tribal Land Rights

CROOKED MEDIA's latest podcast is an examination of the story behind an upcoming SUPREME COURT decision that could lead to the restoration of tribal land in OKLAHOMA -- almost half the state's land -- to five Native American tribes.

"THIS LAND," hosted by REBECCA NAGLE, will tell the story of how a murder conviction in 2000 raised the issue of whether a crime committed on tribal reservations can be prosecuted by the state of OKLAHOMA, and how a federal circuit court decision in 2017 that the state did not have jurisdiction has led to an appeal that could result in the largest restoration of tribal land in U.S. history, despite powerful opposition from the TRUMP administration and oil and gas companies.

The series will premiere on JUNE 3rd.
