The price for GRUPO RADIO CENTRO's 93.9 LICENSE LLC's sale of Regional Mexican KXOS (RADIO CENTRO 93.9)/LOS ANGELES, its booster in SANTA CLARITA, CA, and GRUPO RADIO CENTRO's LMA assets to MERUELO MEDIA's 93.9 LICENSE LLC is $34 million plus $`1 million for the LMA assets (programming, etc.), according to the contract filed with the FCC. The price was undisclosed when the deal was initially announced.
Another deal for which the price was undisclosed in the original announcement now has a price tag attached with the filing of the contract for ADAMS RADIO OF FORT WAYNE, LLC's sale of Oldies WLYV-A-W282CH/FORT WAYNE, IN to BRIAN WALSH, who is paying $200,000 for the combo.
In other filings with the FCC, applying for STAs were GOLD COAST BROADCASTING LLC (KVTA-A/VENTURA, CA, operation at variance with nighttime pattern); DAVID W. BLAIR (WZQY/GLADE SPRING, VA, operation from temporary site to return station to the air); REIER BROADCASTING COMPANY, INC. (KOBB-A/BOZEMAN, MT, emergency long-wire antenna after backhoe destroyed top third of tower; KBOZ-A/BOZEMAN, MT, reduced power due to antenna and transmitter problems); UNIVERSITY OF NORTHWESTERN-ST. PAUL (KFNW-A/WEST FARGO, ND, operation at variance with daytime pattern); and EDUCATIONAL MEDIA FOUNDATION (W227BR/PORTSMOUTH, VA, continuance of operation with reduced power).
Filing for Silent STAs was WAY MEDIA, INC. (K236BV/BETHANY, OR, station went off the air after engineer quit and licensee was informed by community that it was silent).
Requesting extensions of Silent STAs was SIEMBRA FERTIL P.R., INC. (WJDZ/PASTILLO, PR, still seeking new site after Hurricane Maria; WNNV/SAN GERMAN, PR, needs to rebuild studio building after hurricane).
And THE VOICE RADIO, LLC has closed on the sale of Classic Rock WXSH (106.1 THE VAULT)/POCOMOKE CITY, MD to MICHAEL POWELL for $150,000.
