Hunter Meyer Named PD At WCKN/Charleston

MICHAEL “HUNTER” MEYER joins SAGA COMMUNICATIONS Country WCKN (92-5 KICKIN’ COUNTRY)/CHARLESTON as PD/midday personality, effective MONDAY, JUNE 3rd. He arrives from DICK BROADCASTING COMPANY (DBC RADIO) Country WUBB (BOB 106.9)/SAVANNAH-HILTON HEAD, where he had been PD and morning co-host for a little over a year (NET NEWS 4/16/18). Before that, he was PD/afternoon host at ALPHA MEDIA Rock WMFX (FOX 102.3)/COLUMBIA, SC. His career has also included stints at WMMS/CLEVELAND, WDSY/PITTSBURGH and other stations.

MEYER succeeds JESS JENNINGS, who departed the station earlier this month (NET NEWS 5/15).
