Longtime rock singer EDDIE MONEY will have a heart valve procedure after he experienced shortness of breath. Although doctors wanted the 70-year-old to go under the knife last week, MONEY felt obligated to perform at his two scheduled MEMORIAL DAY Weekend shows. The procedure is now scheduled for this week.

MONEY made his 28th consecutive MEMORIAL DAY Weekend appearance to kick off the DTE ENERGY MUSIC THEATRE’s 2019 summer concert season SATURDAY, MAY 25th, followed buy a show at HARRAH’S AK-CHIN CASINO in ARIZONA on SUNDAY, MAY 26th, where shortness of breath prevented him from doing an encore at the end of the show. He is expected to be back out on the road performing in mid-JUNE.
