Documentary On Blue October, Singer Justin Furstenfeld To Debut As Band Embarks On New Tour

The band BLUE OCTOBER -- and specifically, the substance abuse issues of JUSTIN FURSTENFELD -- is the subject of a new documentary, "Get Back Up," which will hit the film festival circuit this fall. The film was directed by NORRY NIVEN (DEXTER, CHASING SHAKESPEARE, AMERICAN IDOL).

Filmed at nearly a decade of concerts worldwide, GET BACK UP depicts BLUE OCTOBER’s rise to the top of the charts and then its equally quick fall, focusing on FURSTENFELD's drug usage and mental health issues -- and how they fractured and damaged his family. 

As the film is screened at festivals, BLUE OCTOBER will be on an extensive fall tour.
