KELK/Elko, NV Knocked Off Air In Tower Collapse

ELKO BROADCASTING CO. AC KELK-A/ELKO, NV was knocked off the air when its tower collapsed last night, reports the ELKO DAILY FREE PRESS.

The 198-foot tower fell after its guy wires were hit by a semi, toppling the tower and damaging three cars in the adjacent restaurant parking lot while knocking out some power lines as well. The station's owner PAUL GARDNER told the paper that the station will be back on the air as soon as possible.
