ALPHA MEDIA and COMPASS MEDIA NETWORKS have inked a multi-year extension of their deal to syndicate "THE MARKLEY & VAN CAMP SHOW," which has additional news involving the return of an old friend and a consequent rebranding.
JAMIE MARKLEY's former co-host SCOTT ROBBINS, who has been a contributor to the show, is rejoining the show as full time co-host with MARKLEY and DAVID VAN CAMP, and the show will be rebranded as "THE MARKLEY, VAN CAMP & ROBBINS SHOW." DAVID G. HALL is continuing to consult the show, which airs in over 50 markets, including its flagships MIDWEST COMMUNICATIONS News-Talk WMBD-A-W262BY/PEORIA and ALPHA MEDIA News-Talk KXL/PORTLAND.
“MARKLEY, VAN CAMP and ROBBINS have achieved the perfect blend of chemistry and humor,” said ALPHA MEDIA EVP/Content PHIL BECKER. “This is the show News-Talk stations have been looking for.”
MARKLEY said, "I’m so excited that ROBBINS is a now a full time member of the show. His lack of filter and wit definitely takes us to another level.”
VAN CAMP said, "It's awesome to have SCOTT. He's a hilarious guy, a great broadcaster, and a ton of fun to work with."
ROBBINS, who left the show in 2014 after suffering three heart attacks and five bypass surgeries, said, “I feel incredibly blessed to be part of this show.”
