POWELL BROADCASTING is buying Country KKYY (Y101) and Adult Hits KZSR (BOB FM)/SIOUX CITY, IA from NRG MEDIA for an undisclosed price, according to the SIOUX CITY JOURNAL. POWELL, which will take over operations on NEW YEAR'S DAY in an LMA, owns four other stations in the market.
