Chuck 'DZL' Thompson Named PD At WKKT/Charlotte

Chuck 'DZL' Thompson

CHUCK “DZL” THOMPSON has been named PD of iHEARTMEDIA Country WKKT (96.9 THE KAT)/CHARLOTTE, effective immediately. THOMPSON previously was PD at Alternative sister WEND (106.5 THE END), and has been with the company since 2002. He also previously programmed ENTERCOM Alternative WRXL (XL102)/RICHMOND.

He replaces MEG STEVENS, who segued to the company’s Region SVP/Programming role for GEORGIA and SOUTH CAROLINA in MARCH (NET NEWS 3/12).
