Batter Up: Lineup Set For The Gathering 2019 In Louisville June 12th-14th

4th Annual Alternative Radio Gathering

Next week, AMPLIFY brings the 4th Annual "GATHERING," showcase platform for new and developing alternative bands to LOUISVILLE from WEDNESDAY, JUNE 12th through FRIDAY, JUNE 14th.

THE 2019 GATHERING kicks off next WEDNESDAY (6/12) evening at the legendary CHURCHILL DOWNS RACETRACK with performances by SECRETLY GROUP’S CHERRY GLAZERR, AWAL’s SAINT PHNX, HOLLYWOOD’s DREAMERS and ROUGH TRADES’s STARCRAWLER. The buses return at 10p to THE BROWN HOTEL FOR WEDNESDAY’s LATE NIGHT LOUNGE featuring FLUSH’s LIILY and AWAL’s FRANK CARTER & THE RATTLESNAKES.  

On THURSDAY (6/13), the day kicks off with the annual East Coast/West Coast softball game. This is a serious game for (mostly) unserious players. ARISTA presents UPSAHL and WARNER brings THE REGRETTES for lunch at the MUHAMMAD ALI MUSEUM.  THURSDAY night, everyone will gather at JEPTHA CREED the traditional distillery for dinner and showcases by independent artist KULICK, GLASSNOTE’s STRUMBELLAS, BIG NOISE’s THE WRECKS, SUMERIAN’s FEDERAL EMPIRE, EPITAPH’s BAD SUNS and BMG’s THE GLORIOUS SONS.  The THURSDAY late night lounge back at THE BROWN HOTEL will feature performances LISTEN LOUD's SILENT RIVAL and RIFLE BIRDS' BLACK PISTOL FIRE.

On FRIDAY (6/16), THE GATHERING heads down the OHIO RIVER on the historic MARY MILLER RIVERBOAT for lunch, libations, and live performances by REPUBLIC’s EVAN KONRAD and independent artist THE ORPHAN & THE POET.  Dinner is THE BROWN HOTEL's house specialty The Hot Brown with with BIG MACHINE debuting POESY. Then just steps away from THE BROWN HOTEL is THE GATHERING finale ON FRIDAY night at THE MERCURY LOUNGE WITH showcases by independent TATIANA DEMARIA, AMY GUESS, FOXTROT & THE GET DOWN, PAPER JACKETS, RED MUSIC’s NEW DIALOGUE, and REPUBLIC’s BISHOP BRIGGS headlining.
