Entercom's LGBTQ+ Channel Q Adds Six New Stations

ENTERCOM LGBTQ+ talk and music network CHANNEL Q has added six new stations, bringing the total to 19 as well as the RADIO.COM app nationwide.

Launching CHANNEL Q are ENTERCOM's KVIL-HD3/DALLAS; KALC-HD2/DENVER; KRBZ-HD2/KANSAS CITY (replacing a simulcast of Sports KCSP-A (610 SPORTS); KXSN-HD3/SAN DIEGO; KGMZ-A/SAN FRANCISCO (replacing the simulcast of Sports KGMZ-F (95.7 THE GAME) and in addition to the existing KLLC-HD2); and WIAD-HD2/WASHINGTON.

“The expansion of CHANNEL Q to six new stations is a significant step as we strive towards further inclusion throughout our country,” said ENTERCOM SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA SVP/Market Manager JEFF FEDERMAN. “We are proud to expand our company’s efforts in providing a voice and representation to the LGBTQ+ community just in time for Pride celebrations nationwide.”
 
Live events timed for the new market launches include live broadcasts of the noon-2p (PT) "DROP THE SUBJECT" with ALLY JOHNSON and JARRET HILL TODAY and TOMORROW in SAN FRANCISCO (following a live appearance SUNDAY at BREWCADE); JULIE GOLDMAN and BRANDY HOWARD's "DUMB GAY POLITICS + EVERYTHING ELSE" live in WASHINGTON all week; and DJ ALEX D. spinning at two DENVER PRIDE parties JUNE 15th and 16th.
