WAXQ (Q104.3)/New York Morning Show Co-Host Shelli Sonstein Climbs For 9/11 Relief

For the second straight year, two-time GRACIE AWARD winner SHELLI SONSTEIN, longtime co-host of iHEARTMEDIA Rock WAXQ (Q104.3)/NEW YORK’s "JIM KERR Rock & Roll Morning Show" led the # 1 fund raising team in the 2019 NYC TUNNEL 2 TOWERS CLIMB.

Recently named an Honorary Battalion Chief of the FDNY for her work highlighting the plight of the ailing 9/11 community, SONSTEIN led her age group with a record time in climbing the 104 stories of the WORLD TRADE CENTER, along with her team of 11 listeners.

Said SONSTEIN, “I would like to thank ELVIS DURAN and my co-host JIM KERR for their very generous donations, and of course, Q104.3 and iHEARTMEDIA for supporting my efforts. My entire team finished this very difficult climb and vows to be back again next year to raise even more funds and awareness of this great organization.”

The STEPHEN SILER TOWER 2 TUNNELS FOUNDATION raises money nationwide for the families of first responders and military personnel killed in action.
