Lauren Black Joins Newly-Created Website 'Country Now'

NASHVILLE-based journalist LAUREN BLACK has been tapped as Editor-In-Chief for a newly-created, consumer-facing Country music website, COUNTRY NOW, which launched today (6/6). Previously, BLACK held the same title at another fan-focused Country music site, SOUNDS LIKE NASHVILLE, which she co-founded under its previous name, COUNTRY MUSIC IS LOVE, in 2008.

“I am thrilled to announce the launch of COUNTRY NOW. I believe a platform like this is needed in the Country music space now more than ever,” BLACK said. “Fans need a trusted place to consume content about their favorite Country stars, and COUNTRY NOW will deliver just that.”'
