TEGNA's Vault Studios Announces Two New True Crime Podcasts

TEGNA's VAULT STUDIOS podcast network has announced two new true crime podcasts coming this SUMMER.

"TRUE CRIME CHRONICLES," debuting JUNE 24th, will be hosted by reporter JESSICA NOLL and Exec. Producer WILL JOHNSON. The weekly show will offer a new case each week from previous TEGNA local television station news reports. NOLL said, “We believe it’s vital to talk to all the people involved in the case. Our audience will hear from reporters who broke the story, the police on the inside, victims and their families, and whenever possible the people who committed the crime.”

Also coming later in the SUMMER is "BARDSTOWN," a look at five unsolved murders in three years around BARDSTOWN, KY. The show is based on reporting by TEGNA ABC affiliate WHAS-TV/LOUISVILLE and will post weekly over an 8 to 12 week run. JOHNSON said, “The people of BARDSTOWN deserve answers, and they deserve to have their story told. Podcasts like BARDSTOWN offer a platform for our journalists to explore a topic as deeply as necessary to get the full story, share additional perspectives, and introduce new information.”

VAULT will be appearing at CRIMECON in NEW ORLEANS this weekend, including a "pitch-fest" ("Every City Has Its Secrets") and appearances by the hosts and creators of the new podcasts.
