FCC Lists 16 Qualified Applicants For 11 Cross-Service FM Translators In Auction 100

The FCC's Office of Economics and Analytics and Media Bureau have identified 16 qualified applicants for the up to 11 new cross-service FM translator construction permits being auctioned in Auction 100. The bidding for the CPs is scheduled to begin on JUNE 25th.

Qualified bidders include BUDDY TUCKER ASSOCIATION, INC., CANDIDO D. CARRELO, CCR-TRI CITIES IV, LLC, CHRISTIAN BROADCASTING, INC., COLOFF MEDIA, LLC, ERJ MEDIA LLC, FAMILY STATIONS, INC., FAMILY TALK RADIO, SUZANNE HENDERSON, IMMACULATE HEART MEDIA, INC., MACDONALD GARBER BROADCASTING, INC., PAX CATHOLIC COMMUNICATIONS, INC., RED WOLF BROADCASTING CORPORATION, SALEM COMMUNICATIONS HOLDING CORPORATION, TOWNSQUARE MEDIA TRI-CITIES LICENSE, LLC, and UNIVERSAL STATIONS LLC.

Three iHEARTMEDIA subsidiaries were among the seven entities determined to be "Not Qualified," including CAPSTAR TX LLC, CC LICENSES, LLC, and CITICASTERS LICENSES, INC. Others on the "Not Qualified" list were CENTRO FAMILIAR CHRISTIANO, EL SEMBRADOR MINISTRIES, NRG LICENSE SUB, LLC, and RADIOHIO INC.
