Lubbock's "Misty" Dies At 82

Condolences to family and friends of longtime LUBBOCK radio personality MODA "MISTY" FINCHER, who died WEDNESDAY at 82 in LUBBOCK. FINCHER was known as the mysterious "FRONTIER GIRL" on KXOL-A/FORT WORTH in the 1950s, later moving to LUBBOCK, where she worked at KDUB-A starting in 1956, then at KSEL, KLBK, KBFM, and KDAV. She was inducted into the TEXAS RADIO HALL OF FAME in OCTOBER.
