MIKE BOUDET is returning as host of true crime podcast "SWORD AND SCALE" after seven episodes on the sidelines.

BOUDET stepped away from the show in MARCH (NET NEWS 3/11) in the wake of a controversy over his social media posts, which included comments perceived by some as sexist or offensive and which drew criticism from other prominent podcasters including "LORE" creator AARON MAHNKE and "UNDISCLOSED" host RABIA CHAUDRY, prompting WONDERY to drop the show. "SWORD AND SCALE" continued under support by PATREON subscribers, hosted by TRICIA GRIFFITH, who is returning to operate true crime site WEBSLUETHS.COM. The episodes hosted by GRIFFITH will be re-recorded with BOUDET's narration and re-released, with BOUDET's return coming on JULY 4th.

"I'm excited to be back on SWORD AND SCALE," said BOUDET.  "It's what I love to do, and what I know how to do best."  He added, "Although, I don't think I'll be back on social media anytime soon."
