HEARST TELEVISION, INC. Pres. JORDAN WERTLIEB has been elected Chairman of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF BROADCASTERS Joint Board of Directors, taking over from BEASLEY MEDIA GROUP CEO CAROLINE BEASLEY, whose term expired.
SALEM MEDIA GROUP Pres. of Broadcast Media DAVID SANTRELLA was elected Radio Board Chair, with TRI STATE COMMUNICATIONS Pres./CEO RANDY GRAVELY as First Vice Chair and JACKSON WORKS, INC. Country WIBM-A-W240DG (95.9 THE POWER COW), News-Talk WKHN-A-W268CA, Top 40 WKHM-F (K105.3), and Sports W270CJ (ESPN 101.9)/JACKSON, MI President/Co-Owner BRUCE GOLDSEN as Second Vice Chair. URBAN ONE Pres./CEO ALFRED LIGGINS was appointed as the Radio Board's Major Group Representative on the NAB Board's Executive Committee.
For the Television Board, GRAHAM MEDIA GROUP Pres./CEO EMILY BARR was elected Chair, QUINCY MEDIA, INC. Pres./CEO RALPH OAKLEY was elected First Vice Chair, and NEXSTAR Pres./CEO PERRY SOOK was elected Second Vice Chair, with ION MEDIA NETWORKS Chairman/Pres./CEO BRANDON BURGESS appointed to the TV Network Representative seat on the Executive Committee.
