PHOENIX-based nonprofit MUSICALLY FED partnered with WARNER MUSIC NASHVILLE (WMN) and the COUNTRY MUSIC ASSOCIATION (CMA) to coordinate the distribution of excess food from this year’s CMA Fest, and to deliver meals to those in need. The nonprofit, founded and headed by industry veteran MARIA BRUNNER, worked with WMN and CMA to collect leftover backstage catering from 10 different venues across five days, ultimately providing over 800 meals. The meals were delivered to local NASHVILLE charities that included NASHVILLE Rescue Mission, The Salvation Army Center Of Hope and NASHVILLE Launch Pad.
“Our chairman, JOHN ESPOSITO, and WARNER MUSIC NASHVILLE prides itself on community involvement, so it was a natural fit to partner with Musically Fed,” shared WMN VP/Radio & Streaming, Marketing CHAD SCHULTZ. "Together, we helped rescue and distribute unused food from not only our showcases at the RIVERFRONT PARK, ASCEND [AMPHITHEATER} and NISSAN [STADIUM] stages, but also from our artists’ fan parties held throughout the weekend. We look forward to partnering again for CMA Fest 2020.”
