  Condolences to family and friends of veteran radio newsman and LOS ANGELES news industry website founder RON FINEMAN, who died SATURDAY (12/30) in SANTA CLARITA, CA at 56 after a long battle with colon cancer.
  FINEMAN worked at several radio stations in BAKERSFIELD and at KERO-TV/BAKERSFIELD before moving back to his native LOS ANGELES, where he freelanced for CBS News KNX-A and noncommercial KPCC and established www.ronfineman.com, which quickly became a popular source for news and gossip about LOS ANGELES television and radio news.
  Subscribers to his website were kept apprised of his medical condition throughout his fight with cancer.
