Longtime ROGERS Sports CJCL-A (SPORTSNET 590 THE FAN)/TORONTO and SPORTSNET television "PRIME TIME SPORTS" host BOB MCCOWN is exiting the show TODAY (6/21).

MCCOWN, who has hosted the show since 1989, tweeted THURSDAY that "Speculation concerning my imminent retirement are 100% inaccurate!" but followed that with another tweet saying, "Okay...I am leaving Prime Time Sports and Rogers. But nobody can shut me up when I still have things to say. Stay tuned. 'I’ll be back!'"
