Cardi B Faces New Charges From Alleged Bar Fight

A grand jury has indicted rapper CARDI B for her alleged involvement in a fight at a QUEENS, NY strip club last summer, CNN reports. The exact charges will be revealed at the arraignment on JUNE 25th in QUEENS CRIMINAL COURT

The rapper (real name: BELCALIS MARLENIS ALMÁNZAR) was originally arrested in OCTOBER following an AUGUST incident where two of the strip club bartenders claimed to have been injured by thrown bottles and chairs. Allegedly CARDI believed one of the female bartenders had a relationship with her husband, OFFSET.

The initial charges were two misdemeanor counts of reckless endangerment and one misdemeanor count of assault. But CARDI rejected a plea deal of a conditional discharge in return for pleading guilty to a single misdemeanor.

That prompted prosecutors to investigate further, after which they took the case to a grand jury.
