LOPEZ BROADCASTING has launched KQSA/BATESVILLE, TX as LA TEJANITA 97.9, playing nothing but Conjunto music. “La Familia LOPEZ is dedicated to preserving our Conjunto traditions that are a staple in our music families’ hearts for many generations,” owner CARLOS LOPEZ told TEJANONATION.NET.

“Any Conjunto group that wants airplay will get airplay period,” GM MANUEL “MANNY” LOPEZ said.

“We want to have an open door policy as HUMBERTO LOZANO LOPEZ taught us,” added PD JERRY PIÑA.
