Sheridan Broadcasting Enters Into A New Venture With Radio Disney

SHERIDAN BROADCASTING has signed a deal with RADIO DISNEY, with RADIO DISNEY agreeing to license RADIO DISNEY video content to SBC. SBC will “telestream” the RADIO DISNEY video content, with the audio to be broadcast on SBC’s radio station WIGO-A/ATLANTA, and simultaneously the video will be streamed at wigoam.com. Sheridan has a patent which covers telestreaming.

SBC will launch a 1 hour MONDAY through FRIDAY show featuring RADIO DISNEY video content in the near future. The show will tentatively be called “THE RADIO DISNEY HOUR.”

SBC CEO RON DAVENPORT, JR. said, “We are honored and extremely flattered to be the first radio broadcaster licensed by DISNEY to use RADIO DISNEY video content. The RADIO DISNEY team has been incredible to work with, and we are very excited about the possibilities going forward.”

SBC Pres./Radio and Digital LEROY JONES, JR. said “I’m thrilled to be working with RADIO DISNEY and their iconic brand. Both RADIO DISNEY and SHERIDAN have rich histories and amazing brands, and I look forward to helping them both grow.”
