MARK GRAY joins COLUMBIA NASHVILLE as Dir./Southeast Promotion, effective immediately. He arrives from KENNY CHESNEY’S BLUE CHAIR BAY RUM company, where he was Touring Activation Mgr. during the singer’s “Songs For The Saints Tour.” His past stops also include day-to-day management duties for ELI YOUNG BAND, Dir./Southwest Promotion at REPUBLIC NASHVILLE, and Marketing Dir. at iHEARTMEDIA Country WKKT/Charlotte. GRAY will be based in NASHVILLE and report to COLUMBIA SVP/Promotion SHANE ALLEN.
GRAY succeeds LAUREN LONGBINE, who transitions to Dir./Midwest Promotion for the label as longtime regional rep BO MARTINOVICH moves into the newly-created role of SONY MUSIC NASHVILLE Dir./Artist Development (NET NEWS 5/15).
“I’m really looking forward to working with the hottest label in NASHVILLE,” said GRAY. “Big thanks to SHANE ALLEN and STEVE HODGES for giving me the opportunity. Can’t wait to see some old friends and meet some new ones in the Southeast!"
