Teen Charged With Manslaughter In Crash That Killed Auburn Radio Voice Rod Bramblett And His Wife Paula

The 16-year-old whose SUV rear-ended a vehicle driven by AUBURN UNIVERSITY football and men's basketball radio voice ROD BRAMBLETT, killing the broadcaster and his wife PAULA on MAY 25th, has been charged with two counts of manslaughter.
AP reports that JOHNSTON EDWARD TAYLOR of AUBURN, AL was arrested and charged on MONDAY, accused of speeding and having marijuana in his system at the time of the crash. TAYLOR was charged as an adult and released on $50,000 bond.
ROD BRAMBLETT, AUBURN SPORTS PROPERTIES' Dir./Broadcast Operations, called AUBURN TIGERS games for almost 30 years, and served as lead football and men's basketball voice since 2003, calling memorable moments like the "Kick Six" victory over ALABAMA in the 2013 IRON BOWL and the men's basketball team's first FINAL FOUR appearance.
