KGON/Portland, OR Adds Brian Shannon As New Morning Co-Host

Brian Shannon Joins Terry Boyd's World

ENTERCOM Classic Rock KGON/PORTLAND, OR is welcoming BRIAN SHANNON as their new morning show co-host joining TERRY BOYD and TERRY BOYD'S WORLD starting on MONDAY, JULY 8th. SHANNON replaces MATT WILCOX who is leaving the station.

"BRIAN’s outstanding comedic talents and timing will combine with TERRY’s tremendous market equity to give PORTLAND its most unique, entertaining and compelling morning show in years,” said ENTERCOM PORTLAND SVP/Market Manager KIM MARTINEZ. “The instant chemistry between BRIAN and TERRY was astounding. The timing is right and the market is ready for someone who can add fuel to the fire that is TERRY BOYD'S WORLD.”

Prior to joining ENTERCOM, SHANNON was an editor/anchor for News/Talk KROI (NEWS 92 FM)/HOUSTON. He has held various on-air roles for KFNC/HOUSTON, Active Rock KEGL/DALLAS and was a longtime member of the legendary TEXAS morning show STEVENS & PRUETT as   EDDIE “THE BONER" SANCHEZ on the now defunct rocker KLOL/HOUSTON.
