WCIT-A/Lima, OH Adds FM Translator, Goes Into Christmas Stunt Portending Format Flip

WOOF BOOM RADIO Sports WCIT-A (SPORTSTALK 940)/LIMA, OH has gone into CHRISTMAS-in-JULY stunt mode with the sign-on of its new FM translator simulcast on W253CM/LIMA.

The station's website sports a countdown clock for a new format to debut on JULY 4th at noon (ET), and has posted messages on its FACEBOOK page teasing the format and saying that "we'll unwrap the big gift THURSDAY at noon!" Sister WWSR (93.1 THE FAN) remains in the Sports format using CBS SPORTS RADIO and FOX SPORTS RADIO programming plus VINCE KOZA's local afternoon show.
