WDET/Detroit GM Michelle Srbinovich Exiting For Post At American Journalism Project

WAYNE STATE UNIV. News-Talk WDET/DETROIT GM MICHELLE SRBINOVICH is exiting the station after nine years to join the AMERICAN JOURNALISM PROJECT as Managing Dir., Civic News Organization Success.

In a letter to WDET listeners, SRBINOVICH said that her last day at WDET will be JULY 12th and that she will remain based in DETROIT while working in a job at AJP that allows her " to have a broader, national impact on the future of local, public-service media." She added that WAYNE STATE Chief of Staff MICHAEL WRIGHT will continue to oversee WDET while the school uses a search firm to look for her successor.
